We decided to remove our old solar system of 2.6 KW and install a 9.4Kw system and a 28 KWh Fox Battery. We spent some considerable time researching various companies that would install in Adelaide SA. 8 Quotes in total and eventually narrowed it down to two companies who quoted on identical systems. Shaun from Solar Secure was able to answer all are questions and provided detailed information about the total system we were focused on. An Installation date was arrange for following Monday after paying a deposit on the Friday. Being Winter the team managed to remove our old Solar System before heavy rain forced the team to stop work. The next day they arrived early to continue the job only to get the ladders set up and be met with heavy rain. Once again they arrived early Wednesday and by lunchtime had completed the installation including the Battery installation. Our only concern was that we were asked to pay in full before work started. This was something we have never had to do before so it raised some concerns. We messaged three other people who had left reviews for Solar Secure asking if they too had to pay upfront. All three replied within 24 hours stating that they had paid in full before installing. We raised our concern with Shaun from Solar Secure, he arranged that we pay 2/3 up front and the remaining on the day of installation. Overall all we are very happy with the installation. Both solar panels and battery are performing extremely well well. We would recommend Solar Secure.

FOXESS 9.9Kw Inverter with 41.9 KwH batteries. I actually based my decision on previous reviews here. Plenty of conversation and all questions were answered by George. The handy webpage they give to track the progress keep everything at hand. There were 65 days between deposit and install but everybody is wanting solar right now so be patient. The install team from the gold coast were awesome. Professional, friendly and the install was under 3 hours. They guided through the WIFI connection, APP setup and the blackout procedure. If I ever update or require another install, Solar Secure will be my first call. It's been a week now and no issues, I'll revisit the reviews in 6 months and update but I'm very pleased. Nick helped us with all the process from choosing the right battery capacity for my pre-existing solar panels to up to easy monthly payment options, making online application process for rebates, booking in earliest date for installation and getting the compliance certificate. My solar battery installation took much longer than usual (3 months) partly due to a very busy period associated with the introduction of government rebates. Very happy with our solar install. The whole process was quick and the sale reps were not pushy at all with wanting to add batteries or bigger systems. Install was done on time and I was kept in the loop and informed during the process. My only gripe is my drive way was left a little messy post install, cable sheath on the floors, rivets and screws. I got a screw in my car tire post install, I picked up 8 screws and thought I’d got them all. Very happy with the process and system

Had Steve of Solar secure arrange 20 kw of Growatt batteries for us here in WA Very happy with experience and set up looks very sexy. Their technicians for both solar and batteries they use here are first class in WA so don’t be scared just because eastern states company best quote anyway. These are 2 metres high when installed The specs for the batteries say 1400 but this does not include the inverter or base plate they sit on If you want to split side by side that requires parallel install which they need to know .Also discuss back up for blackouts it’s an extra since battery has to be wired back to your lights and power on the switch board. Only two of us but last night was first on batteries so no pulling from the grid used 35% of battery total Hope that helps

On behalf of Wally. Bob was our sales rep. The Alpha ESS battery system seems to work good. Saved us lots of money on power bills. It’s cheaper to use your own generated electricity then it is to sell it back to the grid with just 0.003c feed in Tarif. The battery system is also useful for power outages leaving essential power circuits running. We should have gotten a slightly bigger battery then the 13.3kw we have as we do use more electricity then the usual household. I believe the current setup would be sufficient for the usual household. My friend also has the same system from Solar Secure. Note, we added the Sun shade to the battery ourselves. This doesn’t come with the battery system.

George was really helpful throughout the whole process. I shopped around a lot as I really nervous around dodgey solar having heard so many stories. I found that George was honest around what system I should have, everyone put layout with huge systems but George was more tactful looking at my roof, he pointed out where there would be issues and where there could be concerns for maintenance in the future so actually made less money from me and didn’t try and upsell. The installation process went really smooth and the team asked me how I wanted to do bit and pieces and let me onto the roof to see the details. All hooked up with no issues. I just wish to leave an honest review on our recent solar installation experience at our residence. We had a requirement from the lender to install solar within 90 days of settlement to continue availing discounted solar interest rate on our mortgage. So we were shopping around the market to find a vendor who could install solar quickly and efficiently with a reasonable pricing. In our search, we have found Solar Secure and contracted them to install solar. They managed to get Solar installed within a week's time and their workmanship appears to be on the top end of the spectrum. I dealt with Steve, and I found him very helpful. I placed a $100 deposit on a 13.3KwH solar battery around September 24, he allowed me to wait until the government solar battery rebate kicked in around mid-November, and as good as his word he stuck to the original quoted price, and I also got around $1600 off from the rebate. You can ask him for credentials in ABN's ect and he will send them to you so you know solar secure is authentic. The installers were also down to earth Aussie guys from Brisbane.

George gave me good feedback about every questions I've asked. He was quick to response to emails, service was delivered well and happy with the installers as well.
